Toyota's GR Yaris debuted in January 2020 and has since been seen in a variety of guises, from low-power to a face mask-inspired paint job to the brand new GRMN Yaris revealed by Toyota’s Japanese Gazoo Racing division.

JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA – Nasser Al-Attiyah and co-driver Mathieu Baumel recorded their second Dakar victory for TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, when they won the 2022 Dakar Rally, which took place in Saudi Arabia early in January. The pair dominated the event, winning the prologue on January 1st, as well as the tough opening stage near the city of Ha’il. They also powered their Toyota Hilux to victory in Stage 4, but controlled their pace through the remainder of the event, to bring the car home safely in first place, with a winning margin of 27min 46sec.

There are rumours circulating that a new crossover between Fortnite and Marvel could be coming soon. Epic Games has reportedly recently added the set name “S.H.I.E.L.D” to their code, which refers to Marvel character Nick Fury’s clandestine organisation. 

It was recently announced at The Game Awards 2021 that PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, the original boomer of the Battle Royale genre, is moving towards a free-to-play service model starting from 12 January 2022.
