28-31 AUGUST 2025

Don’t adjust your headsets, we’re about to drop a whole load of excitement. The Toyota Gaming Engine (TTGE) is firing on all cylinders to make this one as memorable as all the ones that came before it.

GAME LIKE EVERYONE’S WATCHING

Everyone’s invited to make the TTGE stand your home for the duration of this fun expo as daily, stage, beat the pro and sign-ups will be rewarded. We put together a list of titles that will impress gamers who play FTW, for the first time or just for the laughs.

Gran Turismo 7 on SIM rigs | Clash Royal & Subway Surfer on mobile | Street Fighter, EA FC and Brawhalla on console | Rotation of games on the stage.

THE PRIZE DROP

The famously celebrated Musical Chairs (SIM rigs tag team) game will be revving at full bars on the main stage and winners will walk away with an Advanced 4x4 Driving Academy course and merch!

A total of over R25k in cash, Takealot vouchers, experiences and hardware prizes are up for grabs during the 4-day expo.

“Comic Con Africa gives us a chance to connect with everyday gamers and fans who simply love the culture. Through our partnership, we’re making Toyota performance more accessible, both in-game and in real life, while continuing to support the growth of gaming in South Africa,” says Glenn Crompton, Vice President of Marketing at TSAM.

MEET & BEAT YOUR HEROES

Comic Con Africa is a pop culture spectacle, and we want you to rub shoulders with the people that make it exactly that! Three of SA’s greatest cosplayers will be there to showcase their look and their matching Toyota. Then, back by popular demand and fresh off his Comic Con Cape Town debut, Troy Shepherds will entertain on socials and in person. With this kind of cast hanging out at the TTGE stand, the photo opps will have your friends, followers and future fans drooling.

We’re calling all kinds of gamers and enthusiasts to dress up, gear up and show up, for the fun of it! TTGE is at the continent’s biggest Comic Con experience, making it more memorable than ever before.
