NETFLIX BRINGS STRANGER THINGS TO GAMING WORLD WITH TWO RELEASES
As part of a tentative trial in Poland, Netflix has offered games on its platform for the first time. Subscribers using Android devices to access the platform will be able to download two titles based on Netflix’s hit sci-fi show, Stranger Things.
Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3 are the first titles to be released, but it’s clear that Netflix sees a future in bringing gaming to the platform. Netflix co-CEO, Reed Hastings, has previously stated that the business sees gaming as an enhancement to its existing offering as opposed to an additional revenue stream.
