Popular local rapper, Nasty C, was recently signed by Activision, an unexpected surprise for some. The songwriter and record producer is also an occasional gamer when he finds he has the time. He was the youngest recipient of the Best Freshman Award at the 2015 South African Hip-Hop Awards.

 

Call of Duty [COD] Mobile made the collaboration announcement via a tweet. Nasty C will market the game to South Africans through live streams and live events after teaming up with Carry1st, a publisher of social games and interactive entertainment.

Rumours are circling that COD mobile may plan something special for South Africa’s gaming community with this news. Following COD Mobile’s opening of a special in-game server for South Africa, which enables local players to compete with better game optimisations and ping, the region also appears to be among the happiest of all.
